Talking The Mental Game of Baseball this week on The B Spot

The game of baseball is such a mental challenge that we have to have a way to combat it, especially that time in between pitches in which things can really go awry between our ears.




One of the thoughts of how to combat that time between pitches is to remain in control of yourself by understanding the power of breathing. Breath has many positive effects when we allow ourselves to focus on the benefits




3 things that are crucial to begin to improve the mental part of your game.

  1. Know why you play the game and what your passion is

  2. Learn how to regulate yourself before control your performance (i.e. breathing)

  3. Learn the value and use of routines


Beyond that, we also re-visited the conversation of Signability from S1:E21 and what the correct answer is to the signability question?
