A full month of the latest show happenings in one post. It was a unique month of discussion with multiple guests on the show beginning with our talk about the NIL Settlement that brought Revenue Sharing to the NCAA

The House vs NCAA settlement will allow schools to pay schools $20.5 Million that can now be used to pay athletes: a game changer in collegiate athletics. We then went and sat with area supervisors that run the East Coast Professional (ECP) Workout in the Midwest to talk Professional Baseball. The ECP is one of the premier events for High School Players.
New York Yankees, Area Supervisor, Mike Gibbons was gracious enough to host the group in his home. We ate, laughed, told some jokes and spoke about the game and players for the podcast. During the podcast, Mike spoke about what concerns him with players currently.
We followed that show with another show with multiple people as well when we had a group of former HS prospects come onto the show one year removed from the process. We talk a variety of issues including, college, portal, NIL and professional baseball on this episode.
Griffin Tobias, one of my past players and a current RHP for the Milwaukee Brewers organization took the time to talk about what he has learned moving into the professional game even as several nuggets were dropped by everyone on this podcast episode.
Independence Day was a good time for us to reflect on what we have accomplished over the last several episodes with The B Spot Podcast. We have had coaches, offered information and spoke about the changes in college athletics over the last 5 months of the show. Most of all, the goal has been to express our love for the game of baseball
It's been a whirlwind with more to come, and the 4th of July seemed an appropriate time to say Thank you to everyone that has made this possible. Look forward to much more to come in the near future.
