The Transfer Portal conversation this week on The B Spot Podcast with Special Guest Mark Galyean

The Transfer Portal opened this week in college baseball and at publication of this blog, there are over 5,000 players currently in the portal. It's the conversation that everyone is having, and we at The B Spot Podcast felt it was necessary to jump into the conversation as well with this week's podcast.

The 1st part of this conversation must be "Why?" What's your reason for entering the portal? Were you removed from your team? Lack of space, or are you looking for something that fits your values more?

Make sure you understand the odds. 50% of the players that enter the portal, never find another place to play. Be prepared and understand how valuable this next month is.

That said, there are positives. Be clear as to what your intentions are. Understand film is your resume. Don't sit back and wait. Be proactive.
